My collage piece, Alley Cats Night Out, has been selected to appear at the Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, Oregon, in it’s exhibit entitled “Piecing it Together, a Regional Collage Exhibit”, which runs from June 19- July 27. If you live in the vicinity, please come by and enjoy the amazing, beautiful 2 and 3-dimensional artworks of dozens of Oregon collage artists, cut paper artists, paper sculptors, and mixed media artists.
Providence Hospital Exhibit
Through June 27
Portland Providence Medical Center is at 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97213. The hospital maintains a community art gallery space, curated by Seth Nehil. The gallery is along the corridor between the hospital’s main atrium lobby and information check-in area, and the Franz Cancer Center.
I am honored that 25 of my collages and prints are on display there from April 18 through June 27, 2026. Since this is a hospital and not an art gallery, there will be no opening party, beverages served, or any of the usual amenities one might expect at an art exhibit. However the exhibition space is in a wide, uncrowded corridor, the art is displayed appealingly, and it is a spacious and inviting area to spend a little time looking at the art.
All of the collages and prints are available for purchase. Although the collages are more expensive, full size Giclée print reproductions are available at prices ranging from $120.00 to $200.00 and $300.00. There are several prints in the exhibit, and they demonstrate the remarkable quality of the Giclée printing process. It is often difficult, at first inspection, to tell whether you are looking at an original collage or a print.
