Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival August 21, 22, 23, Esther Short Park

Blues legend Elvin Bishop (remember the Paul Butterfield Blues Band?) killin’ it at a previous Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival

Come on out for a day (or two or three) to the 26th Annual Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival happening on August 21, 22 & 23rd, 2026. Great music, great food, great vibes, and great exhibitors (https://vancouverwinejazz.com/). I am very happy to say I will be among the exhibitors, setting up a canopy/booth to show and sell my art. I’ll be selling my jazz themed (naturally!) and all my other fine art giclee prints, in various sizes and at various price points from $25 to $300. I’ll also have available 5”x7” note cards with images of my collages for $10. Come enjoy the music and festival atmosphere, and you gotta stop by my booth and say hello!

Artistic Portland Gallery August, 2026

I am honored to be featured as Visiting Artist for the month of August at Artistic Portland Gallery, located at 4110 NE Fremont Street. If you are familiar with the gallery, you know the amazing member artists and the talent of the Guest and Visiting Artists displayed there. If you don’t know the gallery, you are in for a treat. It’s a friendly, relaxed gallery, and the quality of the paintings, jewelry, woodwork, ceramics, mixed media, and collage is first class. I have a dedicated area in the gallery for the month of August with a few of my larger collage prints, and lots of 11×14 prints, smaller print images, and note cards. If you weren’t able to attend the First Thursday event on August 6 (the weather and air quality were awful), you missed a good time. Between friends, gallery coop artists who were there, and First Thursday art fans, it was a lively affair, with clusters of conversation, enthusiastic art appreciation, and lots of plastic glasses of wine.

Just for Fun, Have Brunch at Little Griddle

The friendly folks at Little Griddle on SE Hawthorne (not the one on 41st off NE Fremont) were kind enough to allow me to hang my collage, “Breakfast Down at the Neighborhood Diner.” A natural, right? If you’re in the mood for a good diner style breakast, brunch, or lunch, come by and while you’re at it, take a look at the collage in person!

Providence Hospital Portland

Browsing the Exhibit

Portland Providence Medical Center, at 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, 97213 maintains a community art gallery space, curated by Seth Nehil. I was very pleased that Seth asked me to exhibit 25 of my collages and prints from April 28 through June 27, 2026.

13 of the 25 pieces were purchased by hospital employees, patients, or visitors. Thanks to all of them and to all of the appreciations and kind words I received from hospital employees and visitors the times I brought friends and relatives to see the show.

Maude Kerns Art Center

June 19 - July 27, 2026

My collage, Alley Cats Night Out (seen above), was sold at the “Piecing it Together, a Regional Collage Exhibit” at the Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, Oregon. The exhibit featured dozens of beautiful and thought provoking 2 and 3-dimensional artworks from dozens of Oregon collage artists, cut paper artists, paper sculptors, and mixed media artists.
